Meet Our Director
Andrea Fornara, Director
Prior to joining Cadence, I worked in the field of early childhood education on and off since 1992. In addition to working with young children, I have also worked in a substantially separate special needs middle school classroom, taught high school English, and managed a food service program. It was during my time teaching high school that I came to the decision to return to teaching young children; realizing that providing a firm developmental and academic foundation was the best way to foster later school and life success. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, have taken many early childhood classes, and have begun working on a master’s in early childhood education.
I am passionate about the field of early childhood education because there is no greater joy, than to witness and be part of a child’s evolution. Every child has special gifts to offer the world and my work allows me to help bring those gifts to light. And as a director I have the opportunity to work with others to create such an environment for this to happen.
On my own time, I enjoy travelling with my husband, spending time with my daughters and their families, as well as crafting, cooking, gardening, and sewing.
