Meet our Preschool Educators
Colleen Cline, School Director
I’ve lived in the Olympia Washington area most of my life. I attended Western Washington University where I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. I’ve been working with children for about 14 years and have been a part of the Cadence Academy family for over 8 years as an Infant Teacher, Assistant Director, and Director. I married my high school sweetheart and have 2 amazing boys. We love baseball, football, camping, and spending quality time together as a family. As Director, I look forward to providing an educational, nurturing, home-like environment for your children to learn and grow. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family.

Cathleen Roth, Teacher
I grew up in Billings MT and moved to the Olympia area in 2013. I have always loved children and began babysitting when I was thirteen. In high school I took a class at the local career center where we learned about child development and had the opportunity to teach our own preschool. That experience ignited my passion for children and I knew that’s what I wanted to do with my life. As life happened I had other jobs, but in 2009 my friend gave birth to triplet girls and asked me to be their nanny. I worked with them for 18 months and I knew that working with kids was what I was meant to do. After that ended I worked a year at a childcare center in Billings then moved here to Washington and started my career here at Cadence Academy. I have taken many early childhood development classes during my child care career and am currently working on my CDA (Child Development Associate). I am so thankful that I get to interact with so many wonderful families and be part of such a positive learning environment.

I have worked at Cadence Academy since 2011 and started as a floater and am now an Infant Teacher and I LOVE IT! My hobbies are going for walks and riding bikes and I love to explore and go on vacations.
