Amy Rademacher, Director
I have been at this school since August 2003….first as a teacher, then as the receptionist, Assistant Director, and finally Director in 2010. I also became a parent of a Cadence student in 2006, so I guess you could say I have done it all!
I truly feel it's a privilege for families to invite me and my staff into their daily lives. Choosing childcare is one of the hardest and most important decisions parents make, so I feel a special responsibility to all of our families to make their experiences with our center positive, supportive, and welcoming. As a working parent of two children, I know how important those qualities are to me and my family, so I want to provide that for other families as well. Every day, I look forward to providing our children with a warm, loving environment where they can feel comfortable exploring, learning and growing!
Jessica Wargo, Assistant Director
I started here as an Afternoon Floater as I was earning my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. After graduating in May 2012, I decided to teach full time. I mainly taught 3 & 4-year-olds while in the Lead Teacher position. In February 2014, I accepted the position of Assistant Director.
The majority of my time is spent collaborating with classroom teachers to make sure we are providing the best learning environment for your child. I am very honored to be involved in your childcare decision. I look forward to providing and creating an environment that you and your child enjoy being involved in!
Ms. Katie, Pre-K Teacher
I have worked here for over 10 years, teaching many age groups from infants through preschool. I currently serve as the school’s 3rd in charge, working closely with the Director and Assistant Director training new staff, supporting teachers, and helping with curriculum. I enjoy this additional role very much and look forward to providing you with quality care!
My husband Michael and I have 3 children - Jack is 9, and our twins Noah and Allie are 5. They keep us very busy! I love spending time outdoors camping, fishing, and hiking. I also am a die-hard Chicago sports fan - Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks!
Ms. Terry, Lead Teacher - School Age
Hello! My name is Ms. Terry and I have been at this school since March of 2003. I have worked with many age groups, but most recently I have been working with our Pre-K and School Age children and I'm currently the Lead Teacher for our School Age program. This past summer I planned and implemented the School Age Summer Camp Program, and I loved it! I enjoy going on field trips and doing recreational activities with the children. Whether it is working on homework, playing games, or doing crafts, I love building relationships with the kids and their families.
Ms. Kelli - Infant II Teacher
I have worked at this school since August of 2011. I have a degree in music education and have many years of experience teaching various ages, but I've mainly worked with preschoolers. I currently teach in our Infant II class, and I have found my calling! I teach many developmental concepts using music as a tool in our classroom. We love to singing songs, reading, exercising large and small muscles, one-on-one talking and bonding time, looking outside and discovering nature. Being exposed to many cognitive concepts such as colors, shapes, patterns, animals, and science properties are also a daily part of the babies’ time in the Infant II classroom!
I am married to my husband, Mike, and we have two grown children living in Texas. Adam is a musician and lives in Dallas. Our daughter Kayla and her husband Rob live in Fort Worth with our grandson, Colton, who just turned three in January- he has become the joy of my life!
