Amber Ducharme, School Director
Amber Ducharme, School Director

Amber Ducharme is the Center Director at Cadence Academy Cooper Point Campus. Ms. Ducharme has more than 12 years’ experience in the field of education and five years with the company. Prior to joining Cadence Education, Ducharme worked in Longview Washington at Lower Columbia College as a Mentor Teacher to the students that studied in the field of Early Childhood Education. Ms. Ducharme has a beautiful daughter named Claire. When she is not spending time with her family, she enjoys hiking, camping, and watching football. Ducharme holds a degree in early childhood education and is currently pursuing another degree in Behavioral Science.

Brittny Benavente, Assistant Director
Brittny Benavente, Assistant Director

Brittny is our Assistant Director and has been with the company for over two years. While she attended Olympia High School Brittny took Early Childhood Education classes and is currently in the process of going to school to earn her teaching degree. “I love children and being able to see them learn as much as possible and grow. In my spare time I like to take my dogs on the boat and go fishing.”

Kayla Day, Teacher
Kayla Day, Teacher

Kayla is our pre-k teacher and has been with the company for over two years. Kayla is a mother of one beautiful little girl. She has a background as a nurse’s assistant and over 3 years experience in early childhood education. She was born in Springfield, Illinois but relocated to Washington in 2005. “ I look forward to meeting everyone and being a part of your child’s life.”
