Krysta Steckelberg, School Director
Krysta has only been the Director at Cadence Academy Preschool in Ankeny for a short while, but has impacted children’s lives as a Lead Teacher in a young preschool setting at Cadence Academy for many years. In both roles, she has fostered children’s development and a love for learning. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and numerous years of experience in the early care and education field.
Kristi Parsons, Assistant Director
I have been with Cadence Academy Preschool in Ankeny since 1998. I have my Early Childhood Education Degree. I am proud of the loving care that we provide to our families. Looking forward to you being a part of our Cadence Academy family.
Miss Amanda, Teacher
Amanda is the Primary Teacher in the Transition/2’s classroom. She was the recipient of the Early Education Professional of the Year Award in 2007 for her unwavering support and dedication to the children she teaches. Amanda emphasizes self-help skills, expressive and receptive language development, and social-emotional interactions in her classroom on a daily basis. We are very excited to have Amanda as a part of our Cadence Academy team!
Miss Angie, Teacher
Angie is a Lead Teacher in our Older Nursery classroom. She is a valued member of our teaching team that plans engaging, and thought provoking lesson plans. She has her Child Development Associate’s degree, and is a Terry Lynne Lokoff/Children’s TYLENOL award recipient. We are very excited to have Angie as a part of our Cadence Academy team!
Miss Nusrat, Teacher
Nusrat is an integral part of our team as a Multi-Age Teacher. She cares for the children in a kind, compassionate, and loving manner. Nusrat has a master’s degree in history and her many years of experience in the industry allows her to interact with all ages of children in a fun and friendly style.
