Linda Helland, Director
I have been in early childhood education field for over 30 years and taught all age groups of children from infants thru afterschool prior to becoming a director. I attended the University of Minnesota-Moorhead where I received my early childhood education degree.
I am passionate about nurturing a child’s curiosity, developing problem-solving skills, and providing an academic foundation to support each child’s success in school and in life. It is an honor to partner with families on their child’s educational journey.
I believe in supporting my community and volunteer with foster care and homeless shelters. I enjoy traveling and have been to almost every state in the US. I have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren that are the joys of my life.
April Deleon, Assistant Director
I began my journey in early childhood education in 2007 and I believe my greatest accomplishments are the relationships I’ve formed with our families. I am honored that our parents choose to entrust me with their children.
I have worked with every age group and have had the pleasure to see children develop as they progress from the infant all the way through to the school age classroom. I believe if you foster a love for learning at an early age, it sparks a thirst for knowledge that is never quenched. I obtained both a CDA and an ECMI, but I am also taught by our children every day. I love their honesty and amazement at the world and I'm constantly surprised by their ability to conquer any obstacle.
I am a mother of two and live in the Allen area. I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughters during my free time. I have been afforded to see how short life can be and choose to find the happiness in every moment I can.
